Captain Doug Hatten fishes both the Western Tampa Bay area and the pristine waters of Pine Island Sound. Captain Hatten guides out of the Tarpon Lodge, located on the western side of Pine Island. The location provides convenient access to fine dining, comfortable bar, room accommodations, and dockage. If you want to catch Tarpon, Snook, Red Fish, or trout, then Captain Hatten can provide you with the time of your life in the bays and flats that surround the area.

Captain Hatten has been guiding anglers to trophy fish for more than 25 years and is many times over a tournament winner. He is knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna, and history. Captain Doug drives an 18 foot Lake and Bay flats boat. He provides fishing experiences with spinning, plug casting, and fly fishing gear. All charters include license, tackle, bait, and drinks. Young, old, experienced or not, all are welcome aboard.

My name is Captain Steve Grim. I am a west central Florida native born in Tampa. I am a life long resident in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota. I specialize in offshore fishing, using live and artificial baits for billfish, grouper and snapper, etc.

At Southern Comfort Fishing Charter we offer a relaxing yet exciting fishing experience as our name suggests. I am on the water everyday following the feeding patterns and movements of game fish in the Tampa and St. Petersburg area. For Tampa fishing you have come to the right place!!

Captain Mayer has been fishing his numbers off the West Coast of Florida for the last 3 years since obtaining his Merchant Marine Officer license. He spent years prior, honing his skills, techniques, and knowledge while logging hours to qualify for his Merchant Marine tickets.

Currently fishing out of John's Pass, Captain Mayer specializes in offshore and bluewater charters, targeting but not limited to, Grouper, Snapper, Amber Jack, Kingfish, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), Cobia and Tuna.

Captain Mayer picked up a first place finish recently in the Alsott Offshore Tournament.

Captain Stevens has spent his youth fishing the waters in and around Tampa Bay. Now he will take you inshore, near shore, and off shore to find the inshore slam, Snook, Red Fish, and Trout. Add a Tarpon and get the Grand Slam. Kingfish, Snapper, and the other usual suspects are fished as the appear in the area.

Captain Stevens fishes several tournaments and has had his ladies win The Old Salt Ladies tournament the last two years. He also fished to a 1st place win in the St. Petersburg Yacht Club inshore tournament.

Capt Kevin Walton is a native Floridian who has been fishing the St. Petersburg area all his life, specializing in inshore and nearshore fishing. Fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Trout, Redfish and many other species.

Capt Kevin's 22 foot tower boat is capable to fish the nearshore reefs and also fish the the shallowest flats. Fishing up to 3 anglers compfortably. All tackle and fishing license is included

As of August 2008 Carlos Bueno, aka Capitan Bueno, started Bueno Fishing to fullfill a need that was created by what I believe is the number one asset we have in FL- Saltwater Fishing!  I have been hesitant in the past to expose my passions and utilize this resource, but the time has come.  Bueno at heart and bueno at fishing, that is my motto.  Fishing is all about experience and especially attitude.  I am a true Florida native that has been exposed to the beauty of the ocean by my father,  and alongside the teaching of my brothers and friends I have learned new things about fishing everyday!

Captain Leer has fished the majority of the Gulf, Carribbean, and spent his life dedicated to the marine industry. You would be hard pressed to find a guide and captain with as much experience in both vessels and fishing. Captain Jaeger has spent the majority of his life honing the skills necessary to find and catch the game fish most desire. Fishing the Tampa Bay area, offshore, reefs, and structures he has put many an angler on fish that are a challenge to get up and to the boat.

Captain Joe Major, a bay area native has fished the waters of the central west since he could hold a rod. He has professional knowledge of gulf and inland waters and loves the experience of guiding his clients to trophy fish.  Whether inshore or offshore Captain Major hunts them all. Among his favorite species are: trout,redfish,snook,snapper, grouper,amberjack,shark, and kingfish.

Bill has led children and adults alike to countless trophies, fish and memories that will last a lifetime. Captain Jeff Gibson has over 20 years of experience on the waters of the Tampa Bay area. This knowledge brings results whether you choose to fish inshore or offshore.

I have always loved the outdoors for fishing, hunting, boating, beaching, jetskiing, diving and snorkling. I have fished from the Florida Keys to the Panhandle .

Also have fished from Costa Rica to the Bahamas and with some of the best fishing guides around to give me the knowledge on how to catch all different species of fish.

I only use the best equipment available such as Daiwa, Penn and Shimano Reels along with Redbone, Allstar and Fin-Nor rods. This will insure the best results with tight lines and bent rods. We are located in St. Petersburg, FL and currently offer one of THE best, most unique fishing charters around.
